The Rose Period (1904–1906)
In 1904 Picasso finally settled in Paris, at 13 Rue Ravignan, called “Bateau-Lavoir”. He met Fernande Olivier, a model, who would be his mistress for the next seven years. He even proposed to her, but she had to refuse because she was already married.
They paid frequent visits to the Circus Médrano, whose bright pink tent at the foot of the Montmartre shone for miles and was quite close to his studio. There, Picasso got ideas for his pictures of circus actors. Full Article

Reza Deghati, one of the best-known photojournalists in the world, has captured the beauty and turmoil of the Middle and Far East for such magazines as National Geographic, Newsweek, Time, and GEO. Reza was born in Tabriz, Iran, in 1952 and studied architecture at the University of Tehran. He taught himself the principles of photography at the age of 14. From 1971 to 1978, he photographed rural society and architecture in his homeland. The problem of sufficiently and evenly lighting the subject can be difficult to overcome.
Often you're close to subject and if shooting insects, it is not like they all like the bright
light and hang out in the bright sunshine.
Best way to achieve suitable is using Tripod (or monopod). It helps you to capture your
tiny subject with longer shutter speed and thinner aperture. they have some
disadvantages for sure, like they're not easy to handle specially in insect photography, most of times you should be really quick. I think this will be a matter of personal choice.

Born in Kashan in 1226 A.H. (1847), to a family greatly attached to art, Mohammad Ghaffari, better known as Kamal-ol-Molk, was undoubtedly one of the most eminent artists in Iran. His uncle, Mirza AbolHassan Khan Ghaffari, known as Sanee-ol-Molk, a 13th century A.H. celebrated painter, was unrivalled in watercolor portraits. His father, Mirza Bozorg Ghaffari Kashani, was the founder of Iran's painting school and a famous artist, too. His brother, AbuTorab Ghaffari, was also a distinguished painter of his time. Mohammad developed an interest in calligraphy and painting from the early years of his life. In his childhood eagerness, he drew charcoal sketches on the walls of his room.
